Card Camera Case

have a broken phone took camera out how can i make it work, record on to a memory card want to make mini cam?

I have a load of broken phones. i took the camera’s out of them. i was wandering how can i make the camera record onto a memory card with out using a bulky phone. i want the camera to be small and compact. If you could email me would be good or just answer below. Thanks in advance.

P.s i want no casing just a way to connect the camera to a memory card and record direct.

The problem with your idea is that the chips needed to make the camera work with the memory card are the *same* chips that make the rest of the phone work. This way, the number of chips is kept to a minimum, which means the phone can be smaller and use less power. The other thing you have to realize is that the camera, the memory card, and the chips that make them work, are all controlled by the software built into the phone. If you change or remove hardware, the software won’t work anymore – or you need to change that software.

All of this stuff – changing hardware and/or changing software, is theoretically possible if you’re a talented engineer, but probably too complicated even for a pretty experienced hobbyist.

I’m not telling you to give up, but I am saying that what you want to do is a lot harder to do than you think it is!
