On pro digital camera’s, is there anyway to see through the screen, and not the eyehole?
I’d really, really like to know this. I can’t figure it out if there’s a way to do so. I’d rather look at the big screen on the camera instead of through the eyehole. help?
oh. and it’s a nikon d80. it says online it’s an SLR, but I can’t find anything about switching the settings so I can see through the screen.
Well, its more professional to look through the eyecup, though, if you have one of the newer Canon or Nikon, there should be a liveview function. When it’s enabled, you can set the camera to a manual setting, hit the ‘set’ button, and use your LCD screen as a viewfinder. First, you need a camera that enables that. Next you need to activate it in the menu. Check your user manual for more info. Hope it helps, cheers.
