Will any USB cable work?

Hey guys, I got a techie question for you. I work in a retail store and we found a little minature spy camcorder in one of the dressing rooms. The camcorder appears to use a USB cable to download data to a computer. I have never seem a camcorder like this before, it is the size of a bubble gum pack. Will any USB cable work on this machine, or would we have to get one from the manufacturer?
